Problem statement
When a user finished signing up and landed on their profile. On the profile, There are a range of tabs such as: feed, about, projects, groups and resources etc.
As a first time user, each tab will be empty and the user might not know what to do next. It also creates a negative aspect when you see an empty tab.
Objective
• Make it more friendly and playful
• Create a better onboarding
• Encourage users to create projects,pages, groups
• Encourage users to upload resources
• Inform the users about the features and what they can do
Solution
Create a range of empty states with title, short description and CTA - The user will have a better understanding and also be able to take action at the same time.
My role
I led the art direction and created a range of illustrations for each tab. I have worked with the CEO and copywriter regarding the design elements for the copy.
